While I've advocated for myself a fair amount, there have been many moments where I haven't had anything to do and I didn't want to interrupt anyone's work to ask how I could help. In the future, I need to be more willing to ask so that I can be of more use; even if there doesn't happen to be anything I can do, I won't be doing nothing through my own fault.
Also, as a clarification on my previous post: as I just learned today, I was wrong about the ECH being the control system for the neutral beams. They're entirely separate systems. The ECH is the system that delivers power to specific points inside the reactor. The neutral beams are the system that provides general power to the reactor by injecting neutral beams of gas tangentially into the plasma. The MBLCS5 that I'm helping to wire is a part of the control system for the neutral beams.
